<What is PyteQ? >

 

“PyteQ” is a Novel Bio-Adhesive Hemostatics and Adhesion Barrier, Comprising Poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) and Poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP)

“PyteQ” immediately forms hydrogel on the wet bio-tissues, and strongly sticks to it.

“PyteQ” sponge was put on the bleeding site.

 It absorbed blood or body fluid, and immediately formed an adhesive hydrogel.
↓
It adhered, and effectively arrested the bleeding.

 

  

 

 

When“PyteQ –Dental-”  is placed in the socket after teeth extraction, it immediately swelled to a soft gel, and stuck to the socket. Even in the patient with relatively high INR, taking anticoagulant such as warfarin, “PyteQ” efficiently stopped bleeding quickly.
